Our standard MOQ is 50 units per style across all sizes. This applies to both stock programs and custom wash development. You may mix waist sizes within a single style to meet the MOQ, but we require at least 5 units per size for size runs.
For first-time orders, we offer a reduced trial MOQ of 30 units per style to help you test the market. Reach out to your account manager to discuss trial terms.
Yes. We strongly recommend ordering samples before committing to a bulk order. Sample pricing is ¥180–¥350 per pair depending on fabric and wash complexity, and samples typically ship within 5–7 business days from our Amsterdam warehouse.
Sample costs are credited against your first bulk order of the same style.
Absolutely. We offer three tiers of customization:
- Stock program — Choose from our existing 91 styles and washes with your own branded labels/tags.
- Custom wash — Develop your own wash/finish on our base patterns. MOQ 200 units per wash.
- Full custom — Pattern development, fabric selection, trims, and washes from scratch. MOQ 500 units per style.
Lead times and pricing vary by program. Contact our development team for a detailed quote.
To place an order, you'll need to first open a wholesale account. You can apply directly through our contact form or email trade@denimtrade.com. Once your account is approved (usually within 24 hours), you'll receive access to our wholesale portal with real-time inventory, pricing, and order management tools.
For custom development, your account manager will guide you through the development and approval process before production begins.
Lead times depend on the order type:
- Stock orders (existing styles/washes): 1–2 weeks from PO confirmation.
- Custom wash on stock patterns: 6–8 weeks including wash development and approval.
- Full custom production: 10–14 weeks from sample approval.
These timelines exclude shipping transit time, which varies by destination (typically 3–10 business days for express, 4–6 weeks for sea freight).
We produce in three certified factories: one in Guimarães (Portugal), one in Tunis (Tunisia), and one in Tirupur (India). All factories are audited annually for fair labor practices and hold either Fair Wear or SA8000 certification.
Stock orders typically ship from our Portugal facility. Custom production is assigned based on fabric requirements, volume, and customer location.
We welcome trade visits to our Amsterdam showroom by appointment. Factory visits can be arranged for partners with active or upcoming bulk orders — please coordinate with your account manager to schedule.
Our showroom is located at Haarlemmerstraat 18, 1013 ER Amsterdam, and is open Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 CET.
Standard B2B terms are Net-30 for approved accounts. First orders require 50% deposit to begin production, with the remaining 50% due before shipment. After three successful orders, accounts may qualify for full Net-30 terms.
We accept wire transfer (T/T), letter of credit (L/C for orders over ¥100,000), and major credit cards for sample orders. All pricing is quoted in EUR, USD, or CNY at the time of quotation.
B2B pricing is not publicly listed on our website. Wholesale prices depend on order volume, customization level, and ongoing partnership terms. Once your trade account is approved, you'll have access to full price lists in the wholesale portal, with tiered pricing for larger volumes.
For a quick estimate, you can expect stock denim to range from ¥350–¥650 per unit wholesale, depending on fabric and wash.
Yes. We offer tiered volume discounts starting at 200 units per style:
- 50–199 units: standard wholesale pricing
- 200–499 units: 8% discount
- 500–1,999 units: 15% discount
- 2,000+ units: custom pricing by quotation
Volume discounts apply per style per order, not across multiple styles in a single shipment.
We ship worldwide and offer multiple options:
- Express courier (DHL/FedEx): 3–10 business days, door-to-door.
- Air freight: 5–10 business days, airport-to-airport or door-to-door.
- Sea freight: 4–6 weeks, port-to-port or door-to-door. Most economical for large orders.
Sample orders always ship express. For bulk orders, we recommend sea freight for orders over 500 units to optimize cost.
By default, orders are shipped on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms — we handle shipping to your door, but import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We can arrange DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping upon request; please ask your account manager for a DDP quote.
We maintain strict quality control at every stage of production, with a defect rate target of under 1%. If you receive damaged or defective items, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will issue replacements, credit, or a refund for confirmed defects at our discretion.
We do not accept returns for sizing issues or change-of-mind on custom orders. Stock items may be returned in unworn condition within 14 days for store credit.
We hold and maintain the following certifications across our supply chain:
- B Corp — Certified since 2022, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance.
- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) — Our organic cotton is GOTS certified from fiber to finished garment.
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — All products tested free from harmful substances.
- Fair Wear — Factories audited for fair labor practices.
Certification copies are available on request for retail compliance purposes.
Every pair of jeans we produce can be returned to us at end of life for recycling — regardless of condition. We provide pre-paid shipping labels for returns in the EU and UK. Returned garments are mechanically recycled into new cotton fiber, which goes back into our denim production.
B2B partners can participate by including return information on their hangtags or product pages. We provide marketing assets and return logistics support for partners who want to offer circularity to their own customers.
Our core denim fabrics include:

- Hemp blends — Durable, naturally anti-bacterial, requires minimal water.
- Selvedge denim — Premium Japanese and Turkish selvedge for heritage styles.
